	With the accession of Cyprus to the EU in May 2004 the government of Cyprus appointed an independent Schedules Facilitator according to the provisions of the relevant EU regulation for the purpose of facilitating airline schedules at Cyprus´ two airports, Larnaka (LCA) and Pafos (PFO). Following a transition period, the Schedules Facilitator fully took over the relevant work from Cyprus Airways in March 2007.
