One of the primary objectives of the EUACA is to support the implementation and application of the EU Regulation 95/93 (as amended) in a comprehensive, consistent and efficient manner.
The Regulation states in Article 8.5 that the coordinator or schedules facilitator shall take into account additional rules and guidelines established by the air transport industry world-wide or Community-wide.
Community-wide guidelines have been developed by the members of the EUACA in the form of Recommended Practices which have evolved out of the application of the Regulation by the coordinators and schedules facilitators in the EU.
These Recommended Practices are designed to supplement and clarify both the Regulation and the IATA Worldwide Scheduling Guidelines and are developed in co-operation with IATA
Once approved by the members of the EUACA copies of the Recommended Practices are sent to the European Commission.
These Recommended Practices are used as a source of reference for all industry stakeholders when dealing with complex coordination issues.
Details of the current Recommended Practices can be found in the Library page.
